Congratulations to our Thomas J Majhan Teen Leaders of 2016!
The Port Townsend Kiwanis Club's Thomas J. Majhan Teen Leaders Awards program honors teens for their community service excellence and outstanding leadership.
The program has recognized 162 teens for their volunteer service and for exhibiting superior leadership in their schools.
Nomination letters for Teen Leaders Awards are accepted throughout January of each year.
Nominees must be residents of East Jefferson County between the ages of 14 and 18, and the period of community service must have occurred during 2016. Suggested activities include a project benefiting the community, an individual or a nonprofit group; performing an act of heroism; outstanding leadership in school, church or service organizations; or activities that demonstrate the teen has gone above and beyond for their community.
